Slice around pole to create clean edge

Slice through bark down the length of the pole

Slice through bark down the length of the pole

Change Position... Continue Slicing

A Cut Too Deep!

Remove waste bark

Lift one edge of the bark

Continue the lifting

Lift the other edge of the bark

Peel the lifted edges appart

Slide your fingers under the bark

Pull down over end of pole

Keep pulling downwards and releasing with your fingers

Shining with sap
